IGT Earns Top Marks in Corporate Equality Index for 2025
On Wednesday, IGT proudly announced its recognition with a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). Achieving a top score of 100 underscores the company’s strong commitment to inclusion policies and LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
To achieve this milestone, IGT invested in various programs and changes designed to foster workplace diversity. For example, the company introduced LGBTQ+ job boards and provided both mandatory and optional cultural awareness training. Additionally, they created transgender-inclusive facilities, adopted gender-neutral dress codes, and encouraged employees to select and share their pronouns.
These initiatives clearly demonstrate IGT’s dedication to becoming a more inclusive employer, which ultimately led to its recent recognition.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Recognized
Brian Blake, IGT’s Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, expressed pride in the company’s achievement. He remarked, “Earning a top score in the HRC Foundation’s 2025 CEI highlights our dedication to creating a workplace where LGBTQ+ employees can thrive.” Furthermore, he emphasized the ongoing importance of evolving policies to ensure continuous inclusivity.
Nearly 1,500 organizations participated in the 2025 CEI. This index evaluates U.S.-based companies on how well they promote LGBTQ+ policies. As a result of its comprehensive review, IGT earned a perfect score for its non-discrimination practices, benefits for LGBTQ+ employees, and corporate social responsibility efforts.
