Clarion Gaming has officially announced that the ICE World Gaming Forum will feature Joe Kaminkow, a celebrated game designer recognized for his work with International Game Technology and Aristocrat. Kaminkow will headline the Casino & Leaders Conference, scheduled for January 20, 2025.
Kaminkow’s illustrious career boasts 150 patents and contributions to over 1,500 games, solidifying his reputation as a pioneer in game design, operations, and network development. His remarkable expertise makes him a key figure in the gaming industry.
At the forum, Kaminkow will join other notable speakers, including Vicente Fox, Mexico’s 62nd President, and Akhil Sarin, CMO of Stake and Kick. Over 100 industry leaders will contribute to the event’s rich discussions.
As Aristocrat’s Chief Innovation Officer, Kaminkow will address a diverse audience eager to enhance product innovation. He has also acquired licensing rights for blockbuster franchises like Batman, Star Trek, Sex in the City, Game of Thrones, and Wheel of Fortune.
Beyond his keynote, Kaminkow will participate in sessions with brand experts, including HASBRO, focusing on engaging Millennial and Gen Z audiences in digital and land-based gaming.
Damien Ashton-Wellman, Clarion Gaming’s Senior Conference Producer, expressed excitement about Kaminkow’s inclusion, citing his numerous Hall of Fame inductions and recognition as a “Top Ten Most Influential Person in Gaming” by Strictly Slots Magazine. Kaminkow’s early success, such as the NASA-licensed Space Shuttle game in 1984, exemplifies his groundbreaking work blending gaming and entertainment.
The 2025 forum aims to surpass the achievements of the 2024 event, which drew 1,210 senior decision-makers from 79 countries, including 621 operator C-level executives, 87 global CEOs, 72 national and regulatory bodies, and seven government ministers.
