NE Group Expands African Reach with Betika Partnership
NE Group has joined forces with Betika to bring its football-themed game, Defender, to Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. First launched in 2022, Defender blends strategy with real-time choices, requiring players to cash out before their opponents score.
This partnership allows Betika to offer the enhanced Defender version, updated earlier this year. Peter Stagles, Betika’s Chief Product Officer, shared: “Football is Africa’s top sport, and integrating Defender enriches our platform’s experience.”
